Job summary

NSW Rural Fire Service is seeking an Applications Support Analyst at Sydney Olympic Park. This temporary, full-time role offers a 35-hour week with hybrid/flexible arrangements. The position carries the RFS Level 8/9 and an attractive salary, with 12% superannuation.

The role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications across the organisation, using C#, .NET, JavaScript and AWS services, and collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on application support for enterprise applications and systems.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis to resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system availability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support, troubleshooting and maintenance for enterprise applications and systems.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and production issues including root‑cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Monitor application performance, availability and reliability ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Support applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, React, Node.js and AWS services including Lambda and CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to deliver application improvements ensuring compliance with NSW Government ICT standards and best practices.
