Job summary

Certis Security Australia is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to support strong financial governance and supplier confidence. You will process supplier invoices accurately and on time, coding and approving in line with policy, and help maintain audit-ready AP records.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will work with Finance, Procurement and budget holders to ensure invoices are paid on time, while maintaining high-volume transaction handling in a hybrid, technology-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with financial systems and high-volume transactions.
• Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Processing: process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently in line with policy.
• Supplier Queries & Issue Resolution: respond to supplier enquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Compliance, Controls & Documentation: follow AP controls and maintain documentation.
• Systems & Reporting: use AP/finance systems and support reporting and audits.
• Team & Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with Finance, Procurement and budget holders.
• Continuous improvement: identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve processes.
