Job summary

Access Health and Community (AccessHC) is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance and Corporate Services team. This max term, part-time 0.6 EFT role is based in Melbourne and reports to the Finance Business Partnering Lead.

You will handle supplier invoices, PO management, reconciliations and creditor payments with accuracy and timeliness. The role requires at least 3 years in Accounts Payable, strong attention to detail and solid knowledge of GST/tax.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Accounts Payable experience
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Broad knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Proficient with MS Office incl. Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint
• Experience using accounting software (Dynamics BC)
• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, payment requests, reconciliations and creditor payments
• Manage purchase orders and integration between procurement and AP
• Allocate expenditures to GL accounts and cost centres, GST compliance
• Investigate discrepancies, reconcile statements, respond to stakeholder queries
• Support month-end, audits and process improvements
