Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a part-time, 3 days per week role in Melbourne's inner northern suburbs. The position is a temporary to permanent opportunity with hybrid work flexibility and is expected to start immediately.

The role focuses on end-to-end accounts payable in a project-based environment, with emphasis on high-volume processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs. Prior experience using Muli Management Software is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Must have experience using Muli Management Software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing.
• High-volume invoice processing and data entry.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Preparing and processing payment runs.
• Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies.
• Matching purchase orders, invoices and receipts.
• Maintaining supplier master data and records.
• Assisting with month-end processes.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain invoice approvals.
• General finance and administration support as required.
