Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a technically skilled individual to provide support to the Sales team, helping select products and develop quotes for projects and tenders. The role involves reviewing specifications, preparing pricing, and guiding customers with product data and technical queries.

Based in Adelaide, the successful candidate will work with internal and external customers, maintaining relationships and supporting sales staff on project calls.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma or HVAC trade qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
• Experience working within HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy.
• High level of organisation skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to learning and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Review project and product specifications, select product, and provide quotes within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.
• Prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or external customers.
• Provide product information - including data, product brochures, etc. - upon request provide advice and guidance on technical queries to both internal and external customers.
• Maintain appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers when required.
