Daikin Australia is seeking a results-driven HVAC Sales Engineer to review project specifications, select products, and provide timely quotes to customers. You will prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products, and offer technical guidance to internal and external clients.

Join a global leader and contribute to maintaining strong customer relationships, while supporting Sales with project-related calls and ensuring satisfaction across duties.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical plans and tender specifications.
• Experience in HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy is desirable.
• Strong organisation and detail orientation for project support.

About the role

• Review project and product specifications, select product, and provide quotes within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.
• Prepare preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal or external customers.
• Provide product information - including data, product brochures, etc. - upon request provide advice and guidance on technical queries to both internal and external customers.
• Maintain appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Assist Sales staff with project-related calls to/from customers when required.

About you

• Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent qualification or HVAC trade qualification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Previous experience reading and interpreting technical plans and tender specifications.
• Previous experience working within HVAC sales, engineering or consultancy
• High level of organisation skills with demonstrated attention to detail
• Proactive approach to learning and personal development
