Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our Ballarat branch. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive revenue, manage inventory, and ensure P&L efficiency while delivering exceptional service to HVAC contractors and builders.

You will mentor a small team, oversee stocktakes, comply with WHS standards, and actively pursue new business opportunities within the trade wholesale HVAC sector.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage branch operations and deliver on sales plans.
• Strong financial literacy with margin, budgeting, and quoting experience.
• Experience leading hands-on teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations including warehouse, order processing, dispatch, receiving and inventory control.
• Execute branch sales plans, manage contractor accounts, prepare quotes, and prospect for new business.
• Conduct client sales calls/visits to grow revenue and project work.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, monitor margins, and assist with credit processes.
• Supervise and coach onsite staff while fostering a safe, high-performance culture.
• Champion WHS compliance and lead stocktakes to targets.
