Job summary

Senior HR Advisor position in Sydney’s Western region (Rydalmere) for a 12-month maternity leave cover. Reporting to the General Manager of HR, you will lead end-to-end recruitment across venues, advise leaders on ER and performance matters, and drive engagement initiatives to improve the employee experience.

Ideal candidates will bring strong lifecycle HR experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior HR Advisor or equivalent.
• Proven high-volume recruitment across multiple roles and locations.
• Strong experience in employee relations, performance management and engagement.
• Confident in giving clear, practical advice to managers and leaders.
• Excellent organisation, communication and prioritisation skills.
• HR qualification such as Cert IV, Diploma or degree.

Responsibilities

• Execute our group recruitment strategy and lead end-to-end recruitment across our venues.
• Partner with General Managers on employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and action plans to strengthen the employee experience across the Group.
• Lead and continuously improve induction and onboarding framework for new team members.
• Partner with venues on learning, development and compliance training to build skills and knowledge.
• Guide and support the HR Administrator to prioritise workflows and ensure responsive HR support.

Our client is a leading Hospitality Group business with 9 locations across Western Sydney. Due to a maternity leave, they are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to support the senior leadership team for the next 12 months. We’re looking for someone with a strong employee life cycle & business partnering. This role will report through to the General Manager of HR.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute our Group recruitment strategy and lead end to end recruitment across our venues, from workforce planning through to onboarding.
• Partner with General Managers and leaders across employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations, providing practical advice and support.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, communication and action plans that strengthen the employee experience across the Group.
• Lead and continuously improve our induction and onboarding framework to deliver a great start for new team members.
• Partner with our venues on learning, development and compliance training, helping our people build the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
• Guide and support our HR Administrator, helping to prioritise workflows while ensuring our venues receive responsive and effective HR support.

Required Skills/Qualification

• Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor or equivalent role.
• Demonstrated experience managing high volume recruitment, with the ability to execute effective recruitment strategies across multiple roles and locations.
• Strong experience across employee relations, performance management and employee engagement.
• Confidence providing clear, practical advice to managers, General Managers and senior leaders.
• Excellent organisation, communication, problem solving and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A relevant HR qualification such as a Cert IV, Diploma or degree in HR or a related discipline.
