Job summary

Western Health in Melbourne is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge HR and technology during Phase 2 of Project PeopleConnect. You will transform employee experiences, define future-state HR processes, and ensure system quality through hands-on testing for a 13,000+ workforce.

You will work with HR, operations, and external partners, translating needs into clear requirements and supporting training and change management. A strong background in HR systems and health sector exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience in core HR functions including Rostering, Payroll, HR systems.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integrations, interfaces, APIs, and data flows.
• Hands-on experience in process mapping, drafting test scripts, supporting UAT, and delivering training.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate complex system capabilities into simple language.
• Background as a Business Analyst or project management experience, or health/public sector exposure is valued.

Responsibilities

• Map and design efficient future-state HR and workforce management processes.
• Translate operational business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for vendors and implementation teams.
• Develop, execute, and review quality test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
• Collaborate with project leadership, implementation partners, and external health networks to deliver the cloud-based rostering solution.
• Champion change and project delivery by reporting risks, creating updates, and supporting training and post-go-live care.
