Job summary

Thales Australia is seeking a diligent HR Systems Analyst to provide technical support across HR platforms, including triage, configuration, maintenance and reporting. You will work with the HR Services Manager and stakeholders on system upgrades, reorganisations and enhancements, ensuring integrity and timely delivery of HR metrics.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT, business administration or HR.
• Experience with Workday and HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Experience in reporting, configuration management and supporting others.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain discretion in all matters of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop core HR systems including permissions architecture.
• Contribute to HR System projects including selecting, testing and implementing software.
• Carry out system administration activities within Workday including maintenance and data checks.
• Maintenance of database operations of all HR systems in scope.
• Perform regular data quality audits and monitor system integrations to ensure integrity and accuracy within Workday.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of relevant practices and procedures.
• Creation and maintenance of reports and analytics against end user needs whilst driving standardisation and medium of delivery.
• Ensure the on-time delivery of all scheduled HR metrics and ad-hoc/non-standard reports.
• Support key stakeholders through training on HR systems and resolving HR systems queries.
• Input, review and format HR data for entry into the HR system ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Focus on continuous improvement, looking for new ways to improve processes and services, and analysing options for HR system requirements.
• Monitor and respond to end users request regarding system issues.
