Job summary

Action Drill & Blast in Perth CBD is seeking a full-time HR Advisor to support our West region. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing up to two days remote, and reports to the HR Team Lead.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation, provide HR advice, develop policies, handle employment documents, support performance management and employee relations, and contribute to HR projects across sites.

Qualifications

• End-to-end recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation experience.
• HR advisory to project teams and departments.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office and HR systems.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Stakeholder management across levels.
• Knowledge of the Fair Work Act and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and mobilisation for blue- and white-collar staff.
• Provide HR advice and support to project teams and departments.
• Develop, review and implement HR forms, policies and procedures.
• Prepare documentation on employment conditions, remuneration and agreements.
• Support performance management, disciplinary and employee relations processes.
• Analyse HR metrics and report on recruitment turnover and workforce data.
• Coordinate and participate in HR training and communication materials.
• Conduct site visits to provide HR guidance to operation teams.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking applications from talented HR Advisors fora full-time position at our head office in Perth CBD. WorkingMonday to Friday, this role offers a hybrid arrangement, providingthe flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.This varied role offers the opportunity to work as part of adedicated team predominantly supporting our West region operationsand to contribute to a range of HR advisory and project activities.It is well suited to candidates who enjoy operating inafat- paced, collaborative environment and offers opportunities forcareer development.

Reporting to the HR Team Lead, you will be responsiblefor, but not limited to:

• Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, andmobilisation activities for both blue- and white-collaremployees;
• Providing HR advice and support to departmental and projectteams;
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing HR forms, policies,and procedures;
• Preparing and reviewing documentation relating toemployment conditions, remuneration, and EmployeeAgreements;
• Supporting performance management, disciplinary, andemployee relations processes;
• Assessing and responding to internal stakeholderrequirements;
• Processing remuneration increases and related employmentmatters;
• Developing and delivering HR training and communicationmaterials to support leaders and employees;
• Conducting site visits to provide HR support and guidanceto operational teams as required;
• Conducting workplace investigations and managing employeegrievances;
• Maintaining accurate employee data and documentation withinHR information systems;
• Analysing and reporting on HR metrics, includingrecruitment, turnover, and workforce data;
• Advising and supporting management on industrial relationsmatters, including union activity, unfair dismissal claims,general protections, and Fair Work Commission proceedings;
• Liaising with the Payroll team to ensure the effectivemanagement of employee-related matters; and
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvementinitiatives to enhance people processes and outcomes.

Skills, Experience and Qualities required:

• Tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisationalpsychology, industrial relations or related field(preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitmentprocesses, onboarding and HR advisory
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office fluency and HRSystems exposure)
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Stakeholder management skills at all levels of anorganisation
• Understanding of the Fair Work Act and other relatedlegislation
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong workethic.
