Job summary

Eptec in Henderson, WA is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to support the employee lifecycle across our diverse projects in naval, defence and manufacturing sectors. This hands-on role focuses on onboarding, performance management, and workforce development to help our growing team.

You will collaborate with leaders, coordinate HR processes, manage records, and assist with recruitment and employee relations, while ensuring compliance and a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR coordination or a generalist HR role.
• University degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience using HRIS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding experience for new employees and ensure a welcoming start.
• Assist with the employee lifecycle including recruitment, relations, and performance.
• Contribute to performance reviews and employee growth initiatives.
• Assist with rewards, remuneration processes and enterprise agreement interpretation.
• Maintain accurate employment records and HR policy compliance.
• Coordinate housing for international workers and support HR projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a seamless onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they feel welcome and supported from day one.
• Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, team development, and performance management.
• Assist with performance reviews and provide valuable input to support employee growth.
• Assisting with rewards, remuneration processes, and enterprise agreement interpretation.
• Maintain accurate employment records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
• Support recruitment activities when needed.
• Coordinate housing arrangements for international workers.
• Assist with ad-hoc HR projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in HR coordination or a generalist HR role, with a desire to expand your HR expertise.
• Industry experience in Construction or Manufacturing is a plus, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management abilities - along with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• A relevant qualification, such as a university degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using a HRIS is highly desirable.
