Job summary

Melbourne Water is seeking a fixed-term HR Advisor to join the People Hub, delivering high-quality, customer-focused HR services across the employee lifecycle. You will provide operational HR support and first-level advice on onboarding, leave, remuneration and policies, building strong relationships with leaders and staff.

You will contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems, ensure accurate data management and governance, and support programs such as EAP and learning

Qualifications

• Operational HR support across onboarding, leave and employee records.
• First-level advice on employment conditions and policies.
• Job assessment and position management support.
• Data management, document control and governance.
• AusCheck clearance required for SOCI role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality operational services across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and data management.
• Provide first-level advisory and operational support for employment conditions and policies.
• Support Job Assessment and Position Management activities.
• Triage People-related enquiries and escalate as needed.
• Contribute to CI initiatives across People Hub services and self-service information.
