Job summary

Michael Page Australia is representing a major Australian employer to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a large-scale industrial operation. Based in Mt Isa, you will partner with leaders to provide expert ER/IR advice within a high-volume environment.

You will lead investigations, coach leaders on HR processes, and drive workforce planning and engagement initiatives while supporting HR system improvements. A degree in HR is required and experience with large workforces is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• ER/IR advisory experience in a large workforce.
• Ability to coach leaders in operational settings.
• Experience leading workplace investigations and case management.
• Strong stakeholder management across multi-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert ER/IR advice to leaders across a large workforce.
• Partner with managers on performance, conduct, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Lead and support workplace investigations and case management.
• Coach leaders on people processes, policies and best practice.
• Drive employee lifecycle activities, including workforce planning, engagement and retention.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across operational teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems and processes.
