Job summary

HumanKapital is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with strong employee and industrial relations experience to support clients through complex people matters in New South Wales.

This hands-on role requires interpreting awards, conducting workplace investigations, and guiding businesses through difficult employment matters, with a focus on practical, risk-aware advice and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Solid experience handling complex employment matters and IR cases.
• Knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards.
• Ability to explain advice clearly, including risks and options.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical advice on employee and industrial relations matters.
• Interpret modern awards, enterprise agreements and conditions.
• Review classifications, pay arrangements and entitlements.
• Conduct workplace investigations with evidence assessment and reporting.
• Manage grievances, misconduct, disciplinary and performance matters.
• Support clients with disputes and workplace change.
• Prepare clear correspondence, findings and recommendations.
• Coach leaders through difficult conversations and employment decisions.
