Job summary

Borg Property Services is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to support our client sites and Head Office operations. We are a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your initiative and energy are valued.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will assist recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and HR administration while helping build a positive workplace culture. Experience in facilities/services is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years as a HR Coordinator or Advisor.
  • Tertiary level qualification in HR management or related degree.
  • Strong knowledge of Awards, IR and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and HR administration.
  • Manage employee life cycle and HR processes across sites.
  • Maintain HR systems, reporting and workforce insights.
  • Provide advice on employment matters within the business.

Job description

Borg Property Services is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our organisation where you will play a key role supporting both people across our client sites and Head Office and operations across the business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a long tern career in HR within a faced paced, hand on environment where your ideas, initiative and energy will be valued.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work closely with the senior management team across the business, supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR Administration and people process while helping build a positive, accountable and high performing workplace culture. The role manages the HR function across the business and provides advice across a range of employment matters within our operating environments

The role & key responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with leaders & employees, acting as a trusted HR Advisor & first point of contact for HR matters
  • Support leaders in workforce management, employee relations, performance management, workplace issues, employment legislation, awards, agreements, policies & WHS matters.
  • Experience in facilities services or services industries will be highly regarded
  • Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including induction activities & people movements
  • Maintain HR systems and reporting, analyse workforce data, prepare insights and contribute to HR initiatives, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver HR administration and coordination, including onboarding & off boarding, HR documentation, recruitment and payroll/change processes.
  • Hands on knowledge of HRIS platforms
  • Understanding of Fair Work & employment legislation fundamentals & Modern Awards

  • Minimum 3- 5 years as a HR Coordinator or Advisor
  • Experience within facilities or service-based industry will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Tertiary level qualification in Human Recourses management or related degree
