Job summary

Homes NSW in New South Wales is seeking a Client Service Officer – Housing & Homelessness to support tenants, applicants and vulnerable clients. The role covers tenancy services, community engagement and housing pathways, with a strong focus on assisting those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

You will work across several teams including Tenancy, Temporary Accommodation, Letting and Access Hub, delivering housing assistance and ensuring safe, sustainable housing outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Driver Licence (minimum P2).
• Willingness to travel regularly and work with clients in their homes and the community.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Visit tenants in their homes on a regular scheduled basis.
• Address tenancy-related issues, including rent arrears, property care concerns, tenancy obligations, anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood matters.
• Assist clients at the counter, over the phone and in the community.
• Link with Government and non-Government services to support sustained tenancies.
