Job summary

Homes NSW is seeking a Client Service Officer for Housing & Homelessness in the Southern & Western District, based in Bega. The role focuses on delivering essential housing services, supporting tenants and applicants, and working with partner agencies to enable safe and stable housing outcomes.

The position requires empathy, resilience, and strong communication, with opportunities for career development. This is a temporary full-time, office-based role with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

Visit tenants in their homes on a regular basis.
Conduct property inspections and support tenancy maintenance.
Assist tenants with issues including rent arrears and tenancy obligations.
Provide frontline counter and phone support to clients.
Process housing applications in line with legislation and policy.
Collaborate with government and non-government partners to assist housing outcomes.
