Job summary

Scope Australia in Warrnambool is seeking a House Supervisor to lead a small team and deliver person-centred support for people with disability. The role is permanent full-time and based in Warrnambool with a structured roster.

The position requires an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent, valid Checks, and First Aid. There are comprehensive benefits and a clear career development pathway under the Victoria Disability Services Enterprise Agreement.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent required.
• Availability to work all listed shifts.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a small staff team and roster to meet budgetary and human resources needs.
• Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support promoting dignity and independence.
• Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures.
• Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access.
• Use calm communication and de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern.
• Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate with the wider team.
• Bring patience, reliability and a calm, supportive approach on every shift.
