Job summary

Scope Australia is seeking a House Supervisor in Warrnambool to lead a small team and coordinate services for people with disability. You will ensure roster accuracy, deliver dignified, person-centred care, and follow established behavioural support plans.

You will assess needs, document progress, and collaborate with a broader team. A permanent full-time role with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check are required.
• Valid Australian working rights and any applicable police check.

Job description

As a House Supervisor, you will work with a team of on and off-site specialists with one common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

This is a permanent full time opportunity based in Warrnambool, see roster hours below.

About the role:

• Manage a small staff team and related services, including ensuring effective roster management (budgetary and human resources)
• Provide warm, respectful, person-centred support that promotes dignity and independence
• Follow behaviour support strategies, routines, and safety procedures consistently
• Support participants with daily living, personal care, health routines, and community access
• Use calm communication and effective de-escalation to manage behaviours of concern
• Work confidently and independently while following structured support plans
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the wider team
• Bring patience, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach to every shift

What you’ll need:

• You will be required to hold an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent to meet the criteria for this role.
• Availability to work all below listed shifts.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
• Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
