Scope Aust is seeking an Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A) for a permanent full-time role based in Warrnambool, Victoria. You will provide warm, person-centred support, help with daily living, health routines and community access, and follow behaviour support strategies with calm communication.

The position requires an Advanced Diploma in Disability or Community Sector Management, current First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, and Australian working rights.

Qualifications

Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent required.
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Advanced Disability Support Worker (DDSO2A)

For over 70 years, Scope Aust has supported people with complex disabilities to empower them to live the life they choose, guided by the belief that everyone deserves to belong and thrive. As one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit disability service providers, we operate across Victoria and New South Wales, supporting over 5,600 people from 425+ locations.

We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated individual with an Advanced Diploma in Disability or Community Sector Management who has a passion for creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

This is a permanent full time position based in Warrnambool working a 75.5 hour and 76.5 hour split fortnight.

About the role:

What you'll need:

You will be required to hold an Advanced Diploma in Disability/Community Sector Management or equivalent to meet the criteria for this role.
Availability to work all below listed shifts.
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check.
Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Valid Australian working rights and international police check (if applicable).
