Responsabilités

• Supervise daily service delivery, allocate duties and brief teams on guest needs and event requirements.
• Coordinate guest amenities, VIP arrangements, arrival/departure assistance and special requests.
• Oversee conferences, meetings and functions, including setup, staffing, F&B service and pack-down.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Engineering and Sales & Events to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare rosters, check attendance records and coordinate agency staffing within budgets.
• Coach and train team members, monitor standards and resolve guest concerns.
• Undertake rostered Manager on Duty shifts and respond to incidents within delegated authority.
• Maintain safe working practices and identify service improvements.

Hotel Services Manager, Guest Experience & Events

Help create memorable stays and seamless events at Lanson Place Parliament Gardens Melbourne.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will supervise and coordinate hotel services across guest amenities, lobby and public areas, VIP experiences, conferences and events. This hands-on role suits an organised hospitality leader who enjoys supporting teams, connecting departments and delivering warm, attentive service.

What you’ll do

Supervise daily service delivery, allocate duties and brief teams on guest needs, service priorities and event requirements.

Coordinate guest amenities, VIP arrangements, arrival and departure assistance, and special requests.

Oversee conferences, meetings and functions, including setup, staffing, food and beverage service and pack-down.

Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Engineering and Sales & Events to ensure services run smoothly.

Prepare rosters, check attendance records and coordinate agency staffing within approved budgets.

Coach and train team members, monitor presentation and service standards, and resolve guest concerns.

Undertake rostered Manager on Duty shifts, responding to operational issues and incidents within delegated authority.

Maintain safe working practices and identify opportunities to improve service and team performance.

What you’ll bring

Experience supervising hotel or hospitality teams, with a strong focus on guest service.

Experience delivering conferences, functions or events and coordinating activities across departments.

Practical skills in rostering, allocating duties and training team members.

Confident leadership, clear communication and a calm approach to resolving issues.

A relevant hospitality qualification, or at least three years of relevant experience.

Relevant food safety and RSA credentials, as required.

Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
