Job summary

Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood is seeking a motivatd Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations and elevate guest experiences. This full-time role offers exposure to a globally recognised hospitality brand and a pathway from team leadership to hotel management.

You will coach staff, resolve guest issues, and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B while ensuring safety and service standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for guest service and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience with OPERA PMS will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage guest enquiries, complaints and service recovery.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments.
• Lead, support and coach team members to deliver outstanding service.
• Monitor hotel standards, safety procedures and operational performance.
• Support IHG One Rewards recognition and guest satisfaction initiatives.
