Rydges World Square, part of EVT Limited, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead on-shift operations, champion guest experience and keep the hotel running smoothly in the absence of senior management.

You will coordinate across departments, respond to guest concerns, drive room rate and occupancy, and support Front Office teams. EVT offers Daymaker culture, with perks from day one including dining discounts and career growth.

Competenze

• Experience in a Duty Manager or senior Front Office role within a hotel.
• Calm leadership style and ability to lead the team on shift.
• Strong guest relations and conflict resolution skills.
• Commercial awareness including yield management and room-rate concepts.
• Knowledge of hotel IT systems, security, WH&S and cash handling.
• Proficient in hotel computer/IT systems and fire/evacuation procedures.
• Proactive communicator ensuring department alignment.

Mansioni

• Oversee and coordinate hotel operations across all departments during your shift - ensuring staffing, standards and service are on point at all times.
• Be the go-to for guests: greet, assist, resolve complaints and proactively handle any issues with professionalism and genuine care.
• Drive room rate and occupancy outcomes through yield awareness, upselling and close liaison with key departmental teams.
• Maintain the hotel duty log, report all incidents, and lead the hotel through any crisis or evacuation situation.
• Monitor departmental expenses, assist with rostering, and ensure financial controls and cashiering procedures are followed.
• Direct and support Front Office personnel, contribute to training and development, and keep staff portfolios and checklists up to date.
• Ensure hotel security, asset protection and WH&S compliance are maintained throughout every shift.
