Hyde Melbourne Place is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee Front Office operations and coordinate across hotel teams in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. You will be the primary contact for guests and staff, represent management after hours, and lead by example to uphold our reputation for excellence.

Requirements include one year of Duty Manager experience, strong leadership and communication skills, calm under pressure, knowledge of hotel systems, and current First Aid and Chief Warden

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Duty Manager in a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm, confident, and professional under pressure.
• Knowledge of hotel systems and operational procedures.
• Current First Aid and Chief Warden certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily Front Office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest assistance.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to maintain smooth hotel operations.
• Act as Chief Warden and First Responder during emergencies, ensuring guest and staff safety.
• Maintain a visible security presence and conduct regular patrols to uphold safety and standards.
• Make sound operational decisions in the absence of senior management.

As Duty Manager, you'll oversee hotel operations across the Front Office department and broader hotel. You'll act as the key contact for guests and staff, represent management after hours, and lead by example in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily Front Office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest assistance.

About You
