Job summary

Pegasus Leisure Group in Melbourne is seeking experienced Assistant Managers to join our South East Melbourne venues. This hands-on, fast-paced leadership role supports the Venue Manager in daily operations and delivering outstanding customer experiences while developing a high-performing team.

You’ll help drive venue performance, manage rostering and training, oversee stock, and ensure compliance across gaming, liquor, and venue operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading hospitality teams in fast-paced venues.
• Strong customer service focus with coaching abilities.
• Calm under pressure with excellent communication.
• Ability to manage stock, rostering and training.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day venue operations under the Venue Manager.
• Drive venue performance and financial targets.
• Lead, coach and support team members across the venue.
• Manage stock control and ordering processes.
• Assist with rostering, recruitment, onboarding and training.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and venue presentation.
• Assist with promotions, events and gaming operations
• Maintain compliance across gaming, liquor, TAB and venue operations.
• Support a positive and engaging team culture
