Job summary

Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor for a rewarding part-time role at our family-friendly adventure playland and café in Sippy Downs, QLD. You will oversee café operations and customer service, leading a small team and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Join our team to manage rosters, assist with training, handle cash and stock, uphold food safety standards, and respond to customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
• Exceptional customer service and leadership ability.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certification, Senior First Aid & CPR, and Blue Card.

Responsibilities

Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for a rewarding part-time role at a dynamic family-friendly adventure playland and café in Sippy Downs, QLD?

We are seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe'.

What you'll be doing

Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring efficient and customer-focused service

Manage and mentor a team of hospitality staff, including rostering, training and performance management

Handle cash handling and reconciliation, stock ordering and inventory management

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times

Act as the key point of contact for customer queries and complaints, providing exceptional service

Support the implementation of marketing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 months experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Current Food Safety Supervisor certification, Senior First Aid and CPR certification and Blue Card

Flexible and able to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays on a 2 week roster
