Job summary

Green by Nature is Australia’s leading landscape services business with a focus on creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces in the Nation’s Capital. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on team lead to manage apprentices and crew members, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety across all site tasks.

You will mentor your team, operate a range of tools and machinery, and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or solid industry experience.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritise work and develop team members.
• Sound practical experience with tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, hand tools and petrol operated equipment.
• Current driver's licence is essential.
• WWVP; Police Check & White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members and apprentices.
• Work hands-on with your team.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Operate and support the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Report progress, issues, and requirements to your manager.
• Pest and disease identification and treatment.
