Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a hands-on team leader in Sydney to guide mowing and edging crews using Ventrac, zero-turns and related equipment. You will work on-site with your team to deliver premium outdoor spaces that look stunning and stay safe.

You will manage junior staff, ensure tool maintenance, identify pests, and report progress. A horticulture background is preferred, with a strong safety focus and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in horticulture or related field is an advantage.
• Experience with mowing and garden maintenance tools is key.
• Experience managing junior team members.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s licence is essential.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team in mowing and edging operations (Ventrac and zero turns, Toro Proline H800, push mowers, Atom edgers and brushcutters).
• Work hands-on alongside your team.
• Ensure works are completed to a premium standard.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Report on progress, issues, and requirements.
• Pest and disease identification and treatment.
• Foster a culture of safety.
