Job summary

Green by Nature AU, Australia’s leading landscape services business, is seeking an experienced operations leader based at our Huntingwood depot to own a portfolio of NSW and ACT contracts. You will supervise Supervisors and teams, manage contract scopes, budgets and schedules, and build strong client relationships across your portfolio.

You will drive safety, quality and continuous improvement across site delivery while mentoring staff and coordinating resources.

Qualifications

• Experienced leader balancing operational performance, client expectations and team development.
• Fast-paced environment with focus on relationships and results.
• Minimum Cert III in a relevant trade qualification.
• Background in turf, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of garden maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of sites.
• Interpret and deliver contract scopes, specifications and service level requirements.
• Lead, mentor and support Supervisors and teams through coaching and development.
• Monitor contract performance, budgets, work schedules and outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive service.
• Prepare quotations and variations in line with client requirements.
• Coordinate materials, machinery, subcontractors and resources for delivery.
• Maintain accurate operational records and contract documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve client assets and service delivery.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and safety standards.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Drive a positive safety culture and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of garden maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of sites.

• Prepare accurate quotations and variations in line with client requirements and agreed timeframes.
• Coordinate materials, machinery, subcontractors and other operational resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reporting and contract documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve client assets, operational processes and service delivery outcomes.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, industry legislation and Green by Nature's quality and safety standards.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive a positive safety culture while driving operational excellence across your portfolio.

• Minimum Cert III in a relevant Trade Qualification
• Proven experience in an operational leadership role
• Strong background in turf, horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
• Demonstrated experience managing contracts, operational delivery, budgets and resources
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, develop and motivate high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with sound decision-making abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality outcomes and continuous improvement
• Current unrestricted driver's licence
• Willingness to undertake a National Police Check
