Job summary

Green by Nature in the ACT is seeking a gardening professional to lead and develop a team of landscapers and apprentices. You will work hands-on with your crew, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and maintaining tools and equipment.

You will promote a safety-first culture, identify pests and diseases, and mentor others while upholding our values of accountability, bravery and care. Current driver’s licence required; WWVP and standard checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of teams or apprentices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on gardening experience and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop team members and apprentices.
• Work hands-on with your team.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Operate and support the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Report progress, issues, and requirements to your manager.

• Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or solid industryexperience

• Sound practical experience with a variety of tools and equipment such as mowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, blowers, handtoolsand petrol operated equipment
• Current driver's licence is essential
• WWVP; Police Check & White Card(or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
