The Salvation Army Australia is looking for a Team Leader to lead a Homelessness Support Service, guiding a high-performing team to deliver client-centred support for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Reporting to the Program Manager, the role is permanent full-time and based on-site across Seymour and Shepparton, VIC.

Competenze

• Diploma or higher in social work, welfare, community development or related field (minimum Diploma) or demonstrated high level of sector knowledge
• Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and developing staff within homelessness, housing or community services
• Knowledge of homelessness and housing sector, including legislation, case management frameworks, and complex needs of people experiencing disadvantage
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including community organisations and government departments
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with experience in service reporting, continuous improvement, risk management and achieving operational outcomes
• Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
