Job summary

Hinchen Recruitment Group is partnering with an Australian client's On Road Home Assessor role based in Brisbane, North or South. You will inspect damages to domestic insured properties, report findings, and propose a scope of works for home claims authorisation.

You will work closely with builders to ensure repairs meet high standards, are timely, and fairly priced. This autonomous role also offers career progression and comprehensive training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified building trades people must be experienced in insurance-related building work.
• Ability to produce accurate scope of works for repairs.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Experience coaching or appraising builders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend clients' properties and report on building damage.
• Provide accurate scope of works for rectification works.
• Submit reports and review SOWs within SLAs.
• Determine the best method of repair for buildings.
• Coordinate with builders and external contractors.
• Manage complex/large loss claims.
• Conduct virtual/desktop assessments and triage.
