Job summary

Silverchain Group in Bowral is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older adults at home, helping with daily tasks and wellbeing.

You will provide general housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care, and transport to activities; a valid Australian driver's license and own vehicle required.

The role offers award pay at $43.03 per hour, superannuation, paid kilometres, and access to an employee benefits program and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian driver’s license and own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Interest in community/aged care with 3–6 months experience.
• Ability to work independently and find solutions.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and making beds.
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Providing personal care support.

It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for just that person to join the Silverchain team in Bowral and surrounding suburbs.

In Addition, You Will Need

• A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• An interest in community care or aged care (3 - 6 months previous experience in a similar role).
