Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is hiring Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home assistance in Moama and Deniliquin, NSW. You will help with daily tasks, transport clients, and support their independence while following safety protocols.

The role offers permanent part-time hours (15 per week depending on availability) with a competitive hourly rate of $36.42–$36.59 plus 12% super, travel allowance and paid travel time, plus a funded induction and a Fitness Passport.

Qualifications

• Must have either an approved qualification or 12+ months experience in a support worker or AIN role.
• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Job description

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Home Care Support Workers in both Moama and Deniliquin with some outreach work in surrounding areas.

• $36.42 to $36.59/hour (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time
