Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home assistance to our aged care customers in Connabarbran and surrounding areas. You will perform tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal prep, personal care, appointments, shopping, and social outings, while building trusted relationships with clients and their families.

A current Australian Driver’s Licence, access to a reliably insured vehicle, and availability to rosters Monday to Friday are required; you'll receive a

• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Job description

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Home Care Support Workers in Connabarbran with some outreach work in surrounding areas.
