Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers to deliver in-home support for our aged care customers in Maroota and surrounding areas. You will help clients live independently with dignity, performing tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation while providing companionship and safety.

You'll have a current Australian Driver's License and a reliable insured vehicle, flexible rosters (Mon–Fri), a permanent part-time or casual contract, and benefits including a

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families, observe and report.
• Safety Practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in the Maroota and surrounding areas including - Wisemans Ferry, Leets Vale, Singletons Mill, Lower Portland, Sackville North, South Maroota, Ebenzer, Wilberforce, Cattai.

• Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual (based on your location and availability)
• $32.61 to $36.59/hour (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
