Job summary

A service organization for elderly care in Grafton is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to provide compassionate care for elderly customers and assist them in living independently at home. This role is open to both entry-level and experienced candidates, offering flexible permanent part-time or casual contracts. The ideal candidate should hold an Australian driver's license and be available for a minimum of 6 hours a day during weekdays. Minimum Requirements

• Live in or near Grafton including surrounding suburbs Bom Bom, Braunstone, Carrs Creek, Clarenza, Coutts Crossing, Elland, Glenugie, Junction Hill, Rushworth, South Grafton, Southgate, Swan Creek, Ulmarra & Waterview Heights.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared/rental vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
• Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home

What This Role Offers

• Open to Entry Level & Experienced candidates
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
• Permanent Contract hours: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
• Hourly Rate: $31.13 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time

What You’ll Be Doing

• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experienced Carers: Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
