Job summary

Australian Unity Limited in New South Wales is looking for caring, reliable Home Care Assistants to support older Australians living independently at home across the Tenterfield area. You will help with daily tasks, promoting comfort, safety and dignity in clients' own homes.

Responsibilities include domestic support, personal care, medication assistance, social companionship and transport. The role offers permanent part-time contracts (20-50 hours per fortnight), weekend rotation, a competitive

Qualifications

• 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month).
• Commitment to the 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start.

About You:

• Live across the Tenterfield area including Jennings, Sunnyside, Tarban, Wallangarra, Woodside and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month required)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
