Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking dedicated carers to support older Australians living at home across the Tenterfield area. You will provide domestic tasks, personal care, and mobility support, helping clients stay independent while maintaining dignity.

If you hold a valid Australian driver’s licence with your own car, have 3+ months aged care experience, and can work 6 hours daily on weekdays (with one weekend per month), you’ll join a supportive team with paid induction and ongoing training.

• Live across the Tenterfield area including Jennings, Sunnyside, Tarban, Wallangarra, Woodside and surrounding communities

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Tenterfield area including Jennings, Sunnyside, Tarban, Wallangarra, Woodside and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month required)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts

As a valued member of the team, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care and domestic support to older Australians in their homes including:
