Job summary

Australian Unity in Coffs Harbour is seeking a compassionate Home Care Support Worker to assist Elders to live safely at home and in community. You’ll deliver respectful care, help with daily tasks, and accompany clients to appointments and activities.

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply. This part-time role offers flexibility, training opportunities, and wellbeing benefits, with uniform, a smartphone, and PPE provided.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll provide trusted, respectful support to Elders helping them live safely and comfortably at home and in community.

• Experienced Carers: Showering, feeding, toileting, and medication support, as well as domestic duties & accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and community outings.

Who We’re Looking For

• A compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer
• Holds a valid Australian driver’s licence and has a reliable car
• Brings empathy, cultural awareness and a willingness to learn
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply
• Non-Aboriginal carers committed to culturally safe care are also welcome
