Job summary

Harvey’s Towing Service is seeking a Holding Yard Coordinator to oversee yard operations, coordinate data entry, and ensure safety and compliance. You will work with driving teams, respond to customer inquiries, and maintain organised yard processes.

The role emphasizes outdoor work in varying weather, professional customer interactions, and collaboration with insurers and law enforcement when needed. A forklift license and valid driver’s license are required.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Valid driver’s license and must have Forklift License.

• Provide the highest level of phone etiquette by answering customer calls and service queries
• Accurate data entry and booking entries
• Coordinate the timely flow of information to and from our customers and other related departments
• Use initiative to find customer focused solutions
• Develop relationships with our drivers and key customers
• Monitor and maintain yard cleanliness and organisation.
• Conduct routine yard inspections to ensure safety and security measures are upheld.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders when required.

Harvey’s Towing Service have provided specialised services since 1977 in the towing and transportation of all types of vehicles, plant and equipment. In 2014 Harvey’s was taken over By Joe and family to then grow and continue providing outstanding services to Brisbane, Gold Coast and the surrounding areas.

Harvey’s Towing Service services a multitude of contracts for numerous government and private sectors as well as the general public by offering a professional, competitive and respectable service.

We are seeking a Holding Yard Coordinator to manage and oversee the operations of our holding yard, ensuring efficiency, organisation, and compliance with all regulations.

Job Responsibilities
