Milkbar at HOME Parramatta is a vibrant café within the HOME Parramatta precinct serving quality café favourites, grab-and-go meals, catering, and events in a welcoming environment. Primarily daytime hours with kitchen operating 6am-2pm on weekdays and 8am-1pm weekends.

We are seeking a passionate cook with cafe or hospitality kitchen experience, who takes pride in great food, can work under pressure, and leads with strong organisation and team collaboration.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality kitchen.
• Take pride in producing consistently great food.
• Work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience leading service, ordering, menu costing and development.

• Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch and lunch service.
• Menu development and seasonal specials.
• Supporting catering and special event functions.
• Maintaining food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality food while helping to maintain a positive, efficient kitchen culture. Milkbar at HOME Parramatta is a vibrant café and community hub located within the HOME Parramatta precinct serving quality café favourites, grab-and-go meals, catering, special events, and resident dining experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch and lunch service

Menu development and seasonal specials

Supporting catering and special event functions

Maintaining food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

Managing stock, ordering and minimising waste

Working collaboratively with front-of-house and management teams

Contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture

About you

Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality kitchen

Take pride in producing consistently great food

Work well under pressure and as part of a team

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Hold a Food Safety Supervisor certificate

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Experience leading service, ordering, menu costing and development
