Job summary

Flexihire is hiring at its Rocklea branch for a role that combines customer service with hands-on hire equipment coordination. You will quote, price, and confirm equipment availability while supporting upselling opportunities and coordinating deliveries and pickups.

The position requires a proactive approach, teamwork, the ability to manage changing priorities, and basic IT skills to run reports and maintain documentation. Physical fitness and a willingness to perform yard work are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hire industry or hire controlling highly regarded.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and working conditions including ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Experience with IT applications including Microsoft Suite.
• Strong time management and planning abilities.
• Ability to run reports, audit documentation and adhere to procedures.
• Physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Generate quotes, provide pricing and availability to clients and make booking of hire equipment.
• Support a culture of upselling at every opportunity.
• Coordinate deliveries and pick ups.
• Learn about machinery from small hand tools to large compaction rollers & more.
• Co-ordinating, assisting and liaising with mechanics in the workshop.
• Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment as well as the occasional delivery to customer sites as well as yard work as required
