Qualifications

• Experience as Hire Controller, Service Coordinator or similar in construction/equipment hire.
• Based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane and able to travel as required.
• Holding full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage equipment hire bookings, allocations, and returns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support.
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate hire records, contracts, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Support general branch operations and assist the wider team as required.

Position

Due to continued growth and strong market demand, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team, supporting operations at the branch in the western suburbs of Brisbane.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys being at the centre of daily operations. You will play a key role in coordinating equipment hire, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.

Working Hours:

• M - F
• Occasional Saturdays (Paid at time and a half for first 3 hours then double time after)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage equipment hire bookings, allocations, and returns
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support
• Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Maintain accurate hire records, contracts, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
• Support general branch operations and assist the wider team as required

Candidate

To be considered, you will have experience as a Hire Controller, Service Coordinator, or in a similar role within the construction or equipment hire industry.
