HEXhire is seeking a Hire Controller based in the Campbellfield office, Victoria, to coordinate rental contracts and strengthen customer relationships across Victoria and South Australia.

Responsibilities

• Book in phone and email orders for hire products.
• Build hire contracts with asset allocation, rates and payments (Cash Customer) including SA.
• Coordinate delivery and return of hire equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of gear to offer best solutions.
• Use the internal Hire system Point Of Rental for reports.
• Process off hires with extra charges and invoicing.
• Allocate transport for on/off hires and issue POs.
• Send morning utilisation and stock status reports.

HEXhire provides plant and equipment hire across Victoria and South Australia to leading contractors in the construction industry. The Hire Controller role is based in the Campbellfield office and the focus of this position is to support the coordination of rental contracts in the branch and continue to develop customer relationships across Vic & SA. This is a genuinely diverse role that will see you extend on your customer service skills and grow your industry skills to become a trusted adviser to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Book in phone and email orders for all hire products
• Build hire contracts including asset allocation, entering of rates and processing payments (Cash Customer), including for South Australia
• Coordinate the delivery and return of hire equipment
• Maintain a good knowledge of the range of gear to help find the best solutions for customers
• Use internal Hire system Point Of Rental to assist with report building
• Process off hires through Point of rental – adding additional charges such as diesel, cleaning etc and invoicing the contract
• Allocation of transport for both on hires and off hires (internal/subcontractor) – sending purchase orders when required
• Send morning reports for hire utilisation and current stock status
