Job summary

Crown Resorts is seeking a Venue Manager to lead operations at The Merrywell, a high energy, high volume venue with a capacity of up to 858 guests. You will drive end-to-end operations, supervise a large team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining compliant, efficient performance.

You will manage a 24/7 roster, implement QR-based and tech-driven service models, and lead by example with a hands-on, proactive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Venue Manager in a high volume hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and engage large teams (80-100 team members during peak periods)
• Strong experience managing QR-based operations and technology driven service models
• Demonstrated ability to work across a 24/7 operational roster

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily venue operations, ensuring seamless service delivery
• Lead, coach and develop a large, diverse team to achieve operational excellence
• Maintain high standards of compliance, structure, and organisation across all areas of the venue
• Drive a culture of integrity, accountability, and guest focus
• Manage rostering, labour costs, and performance outcomes effectively
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of events and activations
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency
