Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Venue Manager in a high volume hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and engage large teams (80–100 team members during peak periods).
• Strong experience managing QR-based operations and technology driven service models.

The Role

We are seeking a highly capable Venue Manager to lead operations at The Merrywell, a high energy, high volume venue with a capacity of up to 858 guests.

About You

We’re looking for a strong and inspiring leader who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about developing teams and driving performance.

You will bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Venue Manager in a high volume hospitality environment
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and engage large teams (80–100 team members during peak periods)
• Strong experience managing QR-based operations and technology driven service models
• A proactive approach with the ability to plan ahead and prepare for upcoming events and peak trade
• A hands‑on leadership style, leading by example and setting high standards for your team
• Demonstrated ability to work across a 24/7 operational roster
• Full working rights in Australia (no working restrictions)
