Job summary

Lanhams Motor Group is seeking a customer-focused team member to greet customers, manage rentals, and resolve issues at the Hertz counter. The role involves processing bookings, assisting with reservations, and delivering excellent service to both retail and corporate customers.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, prior customer service or sales experience, and a valid AU driver's licence with automatic vehicle capability.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales; rental industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full and current AU driver's licence with ability to drive automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Process rental and return transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and upsell Hertz options.
• Manage reservations and related requirements for rental vehicles.
• Ferry vehicles as needed and participate in start/close of day activities.
• Handle front desk inquiries and receipts for retail and account customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging customers
• Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction by resolving issues
• Sell Hertz rental options to our valued customers
• Be involved in reservations of rental vehicles and associated requirements
• Ferry vehicles as needed
• Participating in 'start & close of day' activities
• General customer reception & enquiries by telephone and front desk
• Accepting bookings and completing Rental Agreements for Hertz Rental
• Receipting payment by retail and account customers

About you

• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers
• Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred
• A full and current AU driver's licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
