Northern Healthcare Volunteer Association is seeking an organised Volunteer Coordinator to join our team across Lyell McEwin Hospital, Modbury Hospital, James Nash House and Northgate. The role is 0.8 FTE, based across NHVA offices at Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals.

Responsibilities include recruitment, training, rostering, mentoring, screening volunteers, and community engagement, with KPI reporting, instruction implementation and event coordination.

Formación

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel. Canva and social media knowledge desirable or willingness to learn with on-the-job training provided.
• Effective Communication
• Expertise in Coordinating people, projects, volunteers and community programs.
• Ability to work with a team and self-manage to high productivity.
• Demonstrate Initiative, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.
• Commitment to professionalism, compliance and high-quality customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Recruitment, training, rostering, mentoring and maintaining up-to-date training of volunteers.
• Screen volunteers and engage the community; report on KPIs.
• Record statistics and implement work instructions; collaborate on events.
• Coordinate across NHVA offices and hospital sites to deliver high-quality volunteer services.
• Assist development and delivery of volunteer programs to enhance patient experience and support staff.
